Uroboros, a unique white wine from Western Istria's vineyards, is a creation of the Trapan winery. This wine is crafted exclusively from the Istrian Malvasija grape, organically grown to ensure ecological sustainability. The winemaking process involves natural fermentation within acacia and oak barrels. It undergoes a maturation period of 11 months on natural yeasts in barrels, followed by a bottle aging of 45 to 60 days, and is presented unfiltered.
Visually, Uroboros is distinguished by its golden yellow hue, accentuated by subtle greenish reflections. Its rich and complex profile is both full-bodied and refreshing.
On the palate you can taste toasted almond and buttery nuances, seamlessly transitioning into floral and herbal notes marked by chamomile, sage, and hints of yellow-green fruits alongside sage honey.
The palate is greeted with the dominant fruitiness of ripe pears and green apples, complemented by undertones of elderflower and rosemary.
